A Pinay was able to send a text message to her family here in the Philippines before the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 flew to Amsterdam.

The pinay was name Irene Pabellon, her family lives in Quezon. Every year their family is conductine a reunion. Irene and her Indonesian husband was supposed to be coming home along with their 2 children namely Sharlene, 15 year old and Dwight Daryll, 20 years old.
The family heard about the news when one of their relatives from Cyprus checked the news. They had the instict that Irene's family was included in the victims of the incident because her husband is working for Malaysian Airlines and every time that they are going home to the Philippines they always ride on the flights of the airlines.
Irene communicated with her sister-in-law here in the Philippines before the flight head for Amsterdam. She was asking the family if they were alright because of the typhoon Glenda and she reminded them to always take care and be safe.

She was known for being helpful. She even promised that she would send money and equipments to help the family.
Malen, Irene's sister-in-law, saw signs in the last texts of Irene. The messages contain words like I love you and Bye. According to Malen, Irene doesn't always include those words when they are talking to each other.
The family is asking for help for them to bring home the bodies of Irene's Family.
