The international star and Tony award winner, Lea Salonga said that Darren Espanto should have been the winner of the First edition of The Voice Kids.

Coach Lea tweeted that Darren Espanto should have won The Voice Kids

"Dare I say it, he should've won 'The Voice Kids" that was the exact words given by the fellow coach of The Voice Kids. She gave that reaction after she had watched Darren Espanto's version of Bang Bang. Darren performed along with his coach Sarah Geronimo.

Bang Bang is the pop hit that was popularized by Nicki Minaj, Jessi J and Ariana Grande. It was known for the upbeat and high pitched notes in the song itself.

This awesome performance was uploaded by Viva Entertainment on Youtube on December 19, 2014. Since then it has been making rounds on the social media sites.

Coach Lea's tweet gained support from the fans and supporters of Darren Espanto gaining almost 1 thousand re-tweets and more than 1 thousand favorites.
Darren was the first runner up in the singing competition, "The Voice Kids". Lyca Gairanod was the champion in the competition and they were both a part of Coach Sarah's team.
