Coca Cola's Happiness reunited OFWs with their families

A lot of Filipinos are working overseas to provide a better for their families. Most of them doesn't even spend the holidays with their families.

And now that the holidays are coming, a lot of OFWs are getting homesick.

Coca Cola created a project named Happiness is a Home Project. This aims to have some of the OFWs go home to their loved ones after a long time. The chosen ones cannot explain the happiness that they are feeling. They were reunited with their families after a long time.

It has been a misconception that OFWs are always happy because they are earning much more. But others don't know what sacrifices they had to give just to provide for their families.

The most difficult feeling that they have is being far away from their families. Although for this generation it is much easier to communicate but nothing will replace the physical attachment to each other.

We might not be aware but some of the OFW would sacrifice the money that was supposed to be for their plane tickets for something much more important than going home.

Whenever they are sick, no one will take care of them. All they have is their selves. They have to be strong enough to conquer the loneliness that comes along the way.

They sacrifice being able to see their children grow. Some of them are not even recognized by the kids because they were not physically there.

They might be earning a lot from working abroad but OFW are really the toughest workers there is.
