WATCH: Atom Araullo reports directly from Samar during Typhoon Ruby

DZMM reporter Atom Araullo bravely gives an update about the intense rain and wind surge of Typhoon Ruby in the Western part of Samar Islands.

As seen on the video of Atom's report, Typhoon Ruby had already started bursting out the winds and heavy rainfall.

Calbayog City is one of the places that will be devastated when the typhoon strikes and make its landfall.

According to PAGASA, the typhoon had already made its landfall in the Philippines. Good thing is that it became weaker after making the landfall but it is still dangerous.

In the 7am report of PAGASA was moving at the speed of 160km per hour. The second landfall will be on Masbate this Sunday.

The Yellow warning was raised in the Islands if Western and Eastern Samar.
