Jodi Sta. Maria is the new Amor Powers of Pangako Sa'Yo

From the charming Maya Dela Rosa in the morning series 'Be Careful with My Heart', Jodi Sta. Maria is now playing the very challenging and powerful role of Amor Powers on the remake of Pangako Sa'Yo.

During the previous interviews with Jodi Sta. Maria, she was continuously denying the rumors that she will be one of the casts of ABS CBN's remake. But when the trailer was released on the Kapamilya Thank You trade event, Jodi was one of the characters.

Amor Powers used to be a maid but her eagerness to take revenge on the Buenavistas pushed her to become a business tycoon. The original role of Amor Powers was played by an iconic star Ms. Eula Valdez.

On the other hand her main rival in the series, Claudia Buenavista will be played by Angelica Panganiban.


As seen on the trailer of the Remake, the fierce and sizzling tension between the two characters was lead to slapping each other.

The original series aired for 2 years. It revolved around the story of Yna and Angelo who fell in love with each other but had the rumors that they might be half-siblings. But the confirmation happened and they were not really related to each other. The role of Yna and Angelo will be played by the hottest teen loveteam Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.

The remake will be directed by Rory B. Quintos.
