FACT: Philippines Arena Largest indoor arena worth 9 billion pesos

The largest indoor arena in the world officially opened here in the Philippines last July 21, 2014.

With a seating capacity of 55, 000, The Philippine Arena opened to be the venue for different international events and entertainment. It was built by the religious sect Iglesia Ni Cristo and this will be the venue for the group's worship as well.

Additional 50, 000 people can also be held outside the staduim for events. It took almost three years to finish the construction and it costs 9 billion pesos (205 million USD).

The building has a total of fifteen storey and area of 36, 000 square meters. It will the the centerpiece for the 75 hectare project being developed in Bulacan province in time for the sect's 100th founding anniversary.

The facilities is open to the public. However, the sect has the right on which events and activities  are going to be held on the venue. It should be wholesome and based on Christian principles and Church Values.
