Woman Became HIV-Positive Through Manicure Equipment Sharing! Shocking!

Human Immunodeficiency Virus is one of the most transmitted diseases that is known to human being. This virus transfer in three ways possible sexual intercourse, blood transfusion and needle sharing.

But a 20-year-old Brazilian woman got her HIV in a rare way. She claims that she got it when she shared her manicure equipment with her cousin last year.

She just found out that she was infected with HIV when she donated blood and it was tested but doctors told her it has a huge amount of viral load. She said that she was not infected through needles or sexual intercourse.

According to the a study about HIV, casual contact such as drinking from the same glass or sharing utensils when eating could not be counted as the transmitters of HIV.

But it was not the deal for this woman, her mother was tested and she was negative. Then, they realized that her cousin whom she shared manicure set with was HIV-positive and is now undergoing treatments for fast recovery.
