The number of children in the world who are maltreated increases every year. More parents are abusing and making their kids suffer.
The best example of this is the 7-year old boy named Liu Hongbo from Qingfeng County in Northern China. His case is different from others.
When Hongbo's photo made way in the social media sites, a lot help had gone their way. His photo while he was on the back of a truck along with a filthy pig alarmed a lot of authorities.
Puyang Loving Society decided to visit Hongbo in their home. This little boy had been living his life outside their home. He spends all his life inside the pig pens where he got his bruises and cuts.
The boy could not go to classes and doesn't know how to communicate with people.
Hongbo's mother is mentally ill but could not afford treatment. His mother often beat him while the father provides by raising pigs.
The investigation revealed that the parents had 5 children, but only 2 survived. The other child was taken by their aunt. While Hongbo was left there and abused by his parents.
From now on, Hong bo will be staying with his aunt reuniting with his little brother. The government promised to give a monthly allowance of 500 Yuan ($80) until he turns 18.
