Sen. Miriam Santiago says she can defeat VP Binay in 2016 elections

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago had already failed twice as she tried to run for presidency last 1992 and 1998 elections but this will no be a hindrance for her to try again.

As of this moment, Santiago has different perspectives whether to run or not for president in the upcoming elections in 2016.

On her previous statement, Santiago said that if she dominated her Stage 4 Lung Cancer by the end of the year 2014 she will run for president. However, right now there is no definite decision yet for the Senator.

Although she is mentally capable of handling the position as the president of this country. She is much more worried about her health and if her health can handle the pressure and duties as a president.

She also stated that she is not afraid of any other potential candidate that might be running in the elections.

Sen. Miriam was positive when someone asked her if she can beat Vice President Jejomar Binay in the 2016 elections. She said, "Oh yes, definitely. Kasi sa atin question lang yan kung meron kang pera."

She said that no one can make her feel coward about the upcoming elections. If they can speak to disgrace each other, she can also deal with that using the English Language a she said.
