PH Runner wins gold medal in the 3000 meter steeplechase
A lot of Filipino waited for the results of the recent Southeast Asian Games that took place in Singapore. Some Filipinos in Singapore even supported all of the Filipinos who will be competing with other countries.
One of these Filipino competitors is Christopher Ulboc Jr., the former FEU runner who represented Philippines in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase at the SEA Games on June 12, 2015.
It was clear in the video that Christopher was contented for being the second best, but to everyone's surprise, Christopher Ulboc was able to surpass the man in front of him by releasing all his strenth when he's already near the finish line.
He was able to bring home the title after finishing the 3000 meter steeplechase of the SEA Games. Christopher wasn't just able to bring home pride to Davao del Sur but also to the whole Philippines.
Also, according to Christopher, he was really nervous as he was running the last 200 meters but he knows for sure and he believes that he will surpass the Vietnamese. He also said that he's offering his victory to the Philippines.
