In the ABS-CBN's show called 'Your Face Sounds Familiar', artists are set to impersonate another artist may it be a local or international artist. They will not just copy their physical appearance, but might as well their talents.
On June 7, 2015, Sunday, Melai Cantiveros was declared as the first grand winner of 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' after she claim the highest number of text votes.
Upon winning, she receives a total of 2 million Pesos wherein she will be donating half of her prize to her chosen charities.
However, the judges of 'Your Face Sounds Familiar' can't deny the fact that Melai Cantiveros really gave her best efforts in all of her performances, most especially her impersonation of Britney Spears, Rihanna and of course Miley Cyrus!
Melai expressed their happiness on the stage together with the fourth placer Edgar Allan Guzman for his impersonation of Chirs Brown, Jay-R for the third place as Frank Sinatra and Nyoy Volante as the runner up with his impersonation of Whitney Houston.
In the end, Melai hugged her husband Jason Francisco because of so much happiness. It can be remembered that Jason didn't stop supporting Melai throughout her performance!
