If you want to attain a high goal like being an Attorney/Lawyer, you must be able to finish a degree first. And with that you must be hardworking and determined to reach for your dreams.

But here in the Philippines, where poverty is one of the main problems that the country is fighting against. A lot of children who do not have much are forced to study with what they have. 

Even if you have nothing, it is not supposed to be a hindrance to attaining your goals in life.

This photo of a young boy will surely melt your hearts because of his perseverance in studying. The photo was taken on a sidewalk in Cebu, Philippines. 

The photo of the boy who was eagerly studying on the sidewalk to finish a homework for his English subject was taken by Joyce Torrefranca and it has gone viral over the social media sites. 

It is really heartbreaking how this child studies in a noisy sidewalk with not enough lighting while some student who has the opportunity to study just wastes it. They do not realize what they have and they are taking it for granted. 

According to Joyce, "As a student it gave me an inspiration to work harder. I'm fortunate my parents were able to send me to school. I seldom go to coffee shops to study, but this kid just hit me. You really don't need much, you just have to be determined and focused on the things that you want to achieve. I hope that this kid will inspire millions of people."
