"After the storm comes the calm." This is how Miss Colombia started off with her message to all the people who had been waiting for her official statement on the incident.
Ariadna Gutierrez took the time to thank the people from the entire world who showed their support towards her.
"Your destiny is written for you. And my destiny was this." she claims. She also said words with the same meaning after the coronation night.
Miss Colombia claims that she is happy that even for a few minutes she was able to make Colombia and the Latino Community proud for a few minutes when she was crowned.
She also congratulated the Philippines for having the third crown and title of their nation. She said, 'I also want to congratulate the Philippines for their new Miss Universe. The happiness that you must be feeling is incredible,'
For Miss Colombia, this is not the end of her career. She believes that something good is bound to happen in the future.
