The apology of the host Steve Harvey was beautifully handled by the new Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
Steve Harvey had an honest mistake of mixing up the names of the 1st Runner Up and the Miss Universe 2015. He announced that Miss Colombia was the winner, but had to take it back saying that Miss Universe is none other than Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines.
After the coronation night, Harvey and Wurtzbach was spotted by Niecy Nash, one of the judges of the pageant as they were exchanging their apology.
On the Instagram post of the actress, Nash captioned the short clip with, "@IAmSteveHarveytv #apology handled beautifully all the way around #MissPhilippines #MissUniverse2015"
Harvey said on the video, "I wanted to fix it. I wanted to do the right thing, Thank you very much. You look absolutely gorgeous."
The host also took the chance to apologize to Miss Colombia, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and the disappointed viewers using his Twitter Account.
