Lea Salonga is known for speaking up her mind especially when it comes to issues pertaining to the country and the Filipinos.
Now, she warned her followers on Facebook to be careful when traveling to the Philippines because of the recent modus operandi at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport whereas the authorities are allegedly implanting bullets on innocent people to have them pay.
The broadway diva claims that the incident are very shameful for her. Though the country is a place where the artistic and talented people are being born, there are also others who choose to do the wrong thing. She claims that the criminal and corrupt is now outnumbering the good people.
Last Sunday, two passengers were arrested because of the bullets that were found in their luggage.
A Japanese tourist named Kazunobu Sakamoto and a domestic helper who works in Hong Kong named Gloria Ortinez were the two new latest victims of these corrupt officials.
The next time you take a step on the NAIA be mindful of your baggage.
