This Thai short film entitled Lollipop Love Story is powered by LG to endorse their cutely designed mobile LG lollipop. Without further ado, the story opens introducing a guy named Gao, the most popular and the heartthrob in his school, he plays the guitar and is undeniably manly. On the other hand, his bestfriend named Moo is completely his opposite. He looks very typical but he’s cute.
One day when Gao and Moo were playing football in their field, Gao accidentally hit the ball very hard directly to the head of a mysterious girl. Of Course, as a gentleman, Gao immediately ran to the girl to apologize but the girl just gave him a cold shoulder. That was the first time that he was snub by a girl.
The next day, the mysterious girl appeared in his class and was introduced by the teacher. She’s Nabe, a Thai-Korean exchange student. It was Nabe’s first time in Thailand and doesn’t know how to speak the local language. During the first few days, she was an outcast yet became the apple of the eyes of men. Many tried to befriend her but the language barrier was certainly a challenge until one man found a way to break this barrier.
Moo used his mobile phone to lessen the language barrier between Nabe. They made use of their cell phone LED graphics to express what they wanted to say. They became very close but mysterious drawings left under Nabe’s table came across. Nabe’s attention was diverted to these drawings and wondered who sends her these drawings every morning. Later, Moo found out that the drawings came from his bestfriend, Gao.
