MJ Lastimosa wins the heart of Filipinos despite not bagging the Miss Universe Title

MJ Lastimosa lost, but still won the hearts of Filipinos.

MJ Lastimosa gave her best during the Miss Universe competition but her journey ended when she did not make it to the top 5.

Despite of the results, Filipinos still showed their love and support for candidate of the Philippines in the prestigious pageant.

 The crowd of Florida International University in Miami, Florida went wild as the competition heated up when the top 15 was announced.

Mary Jean Lastimosa of North Cotabato was announced to be a part of the Top 15. Filipino fans who were watching had gone crazy.

Then she stunned the judges as she walked the runway during the pageant's swimsuit competition during the coronation night.

Along with other contestants, MJ Lastimosa advanced to the next round being a part of the Top 10 beauties of the competition.

But that was the farthest that she made as she failed to enter the top 5. The top 5 candidates were USA, Ukraine, Colombia, Jamaica and Netherlands.

Being a part of the top 10 is not an easy thing to achieve that is why MJ Lastimosa still has the love and support of her fellow countrymen.
