In the year 2013, sometime around February, a 21-year old girl was found dead inside a water tank of the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
The authorities claim that the girl, Elisa Lam's death who is originally from Vancouver, Canada was an accidental death. There were no traces of alcohol beverages or drugs, according to the autopsy that was done to the body of the victim.
But the CCTV of the hotel tells another story. Before she died, she was caught on camera for a span of 4 minutes. In that footage, strange activities can be seen from the girl. Some say that she might be depressed and had a bipolar disorder.
The girl had access to the rooftop, managed to remove the cover of the tank and drown herself inside the tank.
