A Newborn baby was rescued from a sewer pipe of a public restroom in China.

The baby was heard by one of the tenants of the residential unit that the public restroom was located at.

The incident took place in Zhejian province in Eastern China. The tenants immediately informed the authorities of the incident that the baby was stucked inside the pipe that was shaped like a letter L. It was 4- inches in diameter.

The residents of the building were unsure of how the baby fell into the sewer. There were some speculations that it might be an accidental delivery but the landlord of the building said that there were no evidence that there was a delivery that happened.

There were no major injuries aside from several scratches. The hospital officials said that the baby will be brought to social services if his parents would not show up to claim him.
