Babies are more vulnerable to bacteria and viruses. Their immune system is much weaker than a normal adult which makes them more prone to communicable diseases.
Often times, people tend to kiss babies without takingprecautions. No one could ever resist the charm of an adorablenewborn child. But sometimes, this acts could put them in danger.

A mother named Claire Henderson raised awareness about the situation that her baby got into. The mother claims that the baby got contact with oral herpes. She was in the hospital for 5 days.
There were sores developing in the lips of the baby and on the back of the throat.

It alarmed Claire so she immediately took Baby Brooke to the nearest hospital to have treatments. The assessments on the baby had results which state that the sores were caused by Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV-1).
Oral Herpes are very dangerous for newborn babies. It can be fatal for them. So be careful on allowing anyone to kiss your baby on the lips.
