Angel Locsin finally speaks up the reason behind why she could not be the 'Darna' again.
When she got the offer from ABS-CBN and Star Cinema to play the role of Darna in the big screen, she was so excited and thrilled. She started her training in Muay Thai.
But recently, ABS-CBN and Star Cinema made an announcement that 'Darna' will no longer be Angel Locsin.
An injury happened to her when a disc bulge developed in her spine as she was going through the hard training of being a 'Darna'. The management decided to put Angel's health first. They claim that she needed to undergo rehabilitation and treatment.
Angel admitted, "May isang araw po na gumising na lang ako, hindi na po ako makatayo, ni gapang, ni hatak sa sarili hindi ko magawa."
Right now, she is going through a series of treatments and is planning to go abroad to seek further medical attention.
The fans of the actress showed dismay over the news, but they still gave their warm support for Angel.
