As Jason Dy, was announced as the grand champion of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2, his Coach Sarah Geronimo shed out tears indicating that she was too emotional of the proclamation.

It was not the first time that the Popstar princess has led someone from being just a plain singer with dreams of becoming big someday turn into reality. In the last season of The Voice Kids, her teams participants Lyca Gairanod and Darren Espanto worked their ways up and became big.

And this time the same thing happened to the Team Sarah representative in The Voice PH Season 2. Sarah Geronimo's tears kept on falling as she extended her congratulations to Jason Dy. Sarah Geronimo got down on her knees and her hands were on her face. She immediately ran to Jason Dy and hugged him.

It was not the first time that she cried in this episode. She was also seen in tears during the live performance of Jason Dy with 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin'.

The moment of announcement of the winners brought the singer back to the days when she was still joining competitions. It was the reason behind her tears. She won the competition 'Star for a night' which became the doors to her unexpected success.
