“You thought Anorexia was pretty. Think what you want, but I look like I’m dying.” -A statement given by a girl who was suffering from anorexia.

Indie Rose was diagnosed with Anorexia at the age of 15 years old and have been battling with the disease for over a year now. Anorexia nervosa is a disorder that restricts the body from taking in food. In short it was an eating disorder. It is usually triggered by inappropriate eating habits.

Most girls that exists in this new generation wishes to have this kind of sickness to be able to have the figure that they wanted. A skinny body that they see as a treasure to kept.

But this teenager shares her story about the struggles that she faced throughout the battle in conquering Anorexia.

From the normal girl who enjoys every little thing in her life, she is now a girl with a body that is as thin as a skeleton.

The journey started when she decided to lose a couple of weight to look better in a bikini. But Indie did not know that it was the start of a worst case for her.

She started restricting herself from foods until she became so weak and collapsed. Indie was rushed into the hospital. They won't allow her to be discharged with her condition. She was then sent into a Mental Illness Hospital that caters to her disorder.

Now, she needed the help of the tube to be able to absorb nutrients that would eventually make her gain weight.

It was not her wish to have Anorexia. She knows how it feels like that is why she wonders why everyone else are wishing to have this kind of illness.
