WATCH: Maxene Magalona Trends Worldwide at It's Showtime

 Maxene Magalona, daughter of the late OPM rap icon Francis Magalona, became a trending topic locally, and later on made it to the Worldwide trends of Twitter, after her surprise guest appearance as a judge ("Hurado") with Jhong Hilario and Jessy Mendiola, in noontime show, It's Showtime's talent segment.

Maxene's guesting on ABS-CBN was unexpected since she has been with GMA since 2001. When introduced by It's Showtime Host Karylle, she also humbly introduced herself saying, "Sa lahat ng Kapamilya na nanonood, nais ko lang magpakilala. Ako po si Maxene Magalona. Hello!"

She gamely performed when the audience asked for a "sample! sample! sample!", singing her father's hit, "Cold Summer Nights", with revised lyrics as tribute to her father.

According to abscbn news, Magalona thanked those who watched the show and said that it was a good feeling that she trended online not because of singing off-key on TV.

Maxene was referring to her past televised performance on the GMA variety show "Party Pilipinas" in which she also became a trending topic last January 2012 after singing off-key.

Meanwhile, according to abscbn news, Maxene has not yet confirmed if she is now officially a Kapamilya, but she said in an instagram post that she is happy to be back after 21 years.
