An incredible love story was featured in the longest drama anthology in the Philippines entitled, Maalaala Mo Kaya.
It was the story of a man named Roland, who loved a girl named Mary. Their love story depicted the sacrifices that a partner could give to his other half.
He worked hard to earn a living to be able to support his girlfriend's studies. But Mary claims that she wanted to work abroad to pursue her dreams. But she met someone else and forgot about Roland. She left him hanging after all his hardwork for him.
Roland was broken. He could not accept the fact that she left him for another man. Roland found another love in the arms of Erika which eventually became his true love.
