Nurse covers the lips of baby with tape because of being noisy

In Cebu City - A nurse put a micropore tape to the lips of a 7 day old innocent newborn. 

After the mother visited his child at the nursery, she found out about this. She was told by the nurse that the reason for taping his son's lips is his non-stop crying and creating too much noise. 

When asked to remove the tape, the nurse allegedly replied, 

"You can go ahead and take it yourself ma'am."

The family felt like it was a form of maltreatment on the baby. If the baby was so noisy then their might be other way to make them tone down. There are a lot of possibilities that can happen to the baby. 

Like, what if the baby couldn't breathe through his nose because of colds then he would not have any other ways to breathe anymore. That would put the life of the infant in danger. 

Ryan Noval, the father, posted this photo on Facebook and went viral They immediately filed a complaint against the nurse but investigation is still ongoing as the head nurse was on her day off the day it happened.
