Siew Fang is not your average teenager. When her mother passed away, she had to take all the responsibility of taking care of her disabled father and two siblings.
So in order to do that, she had to work after classes to have enough money to support her family and her studies as well.
Her view of life is different from others. Instead of putting her studies as the priority, she wants to take care of her family first.
So when her father asked her about the results of the examinations, she said that she didn't do well. Her father got angry and said a lot of painful words.
