It's hard to be far away from the person you love, but with the help of our technology, there is no excuse to not being able to communicate with your special someone across the miles.

We will give you some tips on how to keep the love and affection growing even when you are apart:

1. DISCUSS. Keep the conversation flowing. Talk to each other not only because you have something important to discuss, but because you simply miss talking to them. This will keep you feel closer to one another.

2. VIDEO CHAT. There are many several programs/apps that will help you talk while seeing each other too! The most popular is Skype, which will allow you to look each other in the eyes and will make you feel that your loved one is just right in front of you. Isn't it happy to see their cute smile and loveable laugh?

3. BE FAITHFUL. It is important to have trust with your partner. While it is okay with some couples to see other people, some couples vow to never date any other person. Discuss how you wanted your relationship to be, so you'll know what to expect.

4. SEND THEM A PACKAGE. We know how easy it is to just send an email, or make a call to them during important occassions but, sending your partner a handwritten letter or card, or a package is exciting and will make them feel that you exert effort in finding ways to surprise them.

5. BE UNCONVENTIONAL. Try to do as much as you would do when you are together. It helps them feel that they are not that far away from you. Try watching your favorite movie together while on Skype, or play online games together. This will allow you to still enjoy each other's company, even though you're not really there physically.
