Latest Earthquake happened in the Philippines 2014

Wednesday night - June 25, 2014

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck just southwest of Batangas according to PHIVOLCS.

It struck at a depth of 36 kilometers at 27 degrees west of Batangas before 8pm.

In Metro Manila it was felt at intensity 3 according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), which said aftershocks should be expected.

However based on the United States Geological Survey they recorded the quake at magnitude 5.6 at 7:52 p.m.

There were no reports of damages to properties and no tsunami warnings are raised.
